I begin by listening to your unique story. You may have felt depressed, lonely, sad, anxious or angry for a long-time or you may have short-term problems such as going through a break-up, facing an empty nest, feeling overwhelmed by your job or grieving a the loss of a dream or the death of someone you love.
I providing a safe, secure setting where you can talk openly. As an objective observer I work with you to identify and explore thoughts and behavior patterns that have created conflicts and take an active role in uncovering and integrating thought processes and memories.
During this process you may find yourself increasingly more aware of both positive and negative emotions. Together we will explore what is behind the thoughts that are creating these emotions. We will explore what you believe about yourself, where those beliefs came from and if they are true.
I practice active listening and provide useful information to increase support between sessions. Coping skills provide tools to care for yourself. Evidence-based methods balanced with empathy and compassion help develop healthier, more effective ways to manage life's problems.

Fees are paid at the time of service.
Reimbursement is sent directly to you by your insurance company.
Sessions are currently in-person, by phone or remotely via Zoom.
